Measure D’s Problems

Measure D’s backers claim that by requiring a public vote for changes to parking plazas they seek to preserve Los Altos’ character. They also acknowledge that, if D passes, the city will have to amend the Housing Element, which identifies where new housing can be developed to meet Los Altos’ housing quota.
